The pleasure of sharing, eating, falling raw dough, to feel this good smell coming out of the oven… all these memories you’ve all surely you. Today I deliver you a recipe a bit special to me, that apple pie to my mom, one of my childhood of course. A pie simple with just the apple sauce and apple quarters above, but for me, the best pies (no no I do not extrapolate !!!). So, yes, there are two schools in question, apple pie, the mine but also the one with a cream to the eggs from above, you see and make your choice , me I have already chosen ! By at home, on the stalls of the local producers, we still find the last apple, then, as it is the favorite fruit of Mini-Miss it to enjoy it fully before moving on to the strawberries (but I admit that I’m not going to make me pray and a recipe for strawberry comes very soon on the blog).

Apple pie my mom {vegan}

For 1 pie Save Print Ingredients

  • 1 kg 1/2 of apples
  • A pinch of vanilla powder
  • 50 g of sugar cane
  • 200 g of flour T80
  • 8 cl of water
  • 5 tablespoons vegetable oil neutral
  • 1 g of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of cane sugar



  • To make the dough, mix together the dry ingredients and then add the oil. Sand dough with fingertips, then add the water gradually. Work the dough to form a homogeneous mixture.Form a ball and let rest for 15 minutes to cool.
  • During this time, make a compote with half of the apples. Peel and cut the apples into pieces and place in a saucepan with a tablespoon of water, vanilla and half the sugar. Let cook, covered and over low heat 15-20 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°.
  • Lower the dough on 3-4 mm thick and dash it in a pie pan. Poke with a fork and spread the fruit compote on top.
  • Peel and cut the apples remaining in quarters and then into thin slices. Have then the apple slices, making them overlap on the compote.
  • Sprinkle the apples with the remaining sugar.
  • Bake for 35 min.
