The cake is chiffon, it is a bit of the cake of my childhood, my mom took us often to make us happy. My turn to make you happy and to share with you this recipe that I love. If you remember I had already made this recipe the egg whites right here. Only three ingredients make up this recipe, eggs, sugar and corn starch then you will have no more excuses to give pleasure to those you love.

I propose you also a smaller variant, why not to cover or garnish the cake with a good homemade jam ?!

Cake chiffon


  • 3 eggs
  • 125 g of sugar
  • 65 g of corn starch (type cornstarch)


Preheat the oven to 160°.

Separate the yolks from whites and beat the yolks with the sugar until the mixture is bubbly and whitened.

Then add the cornstarch to the preparation and mix using a spatula.

Beat the egg whites until firm and add to the intimately with a spatula, to the preceding preparation.

Pour into the mould non-stick or buttered-flour of your choice and bake for 30-40 min.

Great cake !
