Mother-we brought back a spice from her trip to India, so I took the opportunity to prepare a small simple recipe. Here is an indian recipe of chicken that is cooked in the oven, chicken tikka, after having marinated in a blend of spices and yogurt, which gives taste to the meat and helps to ensure that it is dry. It is also a light dish because it cooked without fat.

Chicken tikka

Ingredients (for 2)

  • 2 chicken fillets
  • 1 yogurt
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 inch of fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp spices tandorri
  • lemon juice


Cut the chicken into large pieces.

Mix together the ginger and the garlic cloves to get a paste.

In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, spices tandorri, a squeeze of lemon juice and the paste of ginger-garlic. Then add the chicken pieces and mix.

Leave to marinate in the fridge for 3 h.

Preheat the oven to 200°.

Arrange the chicken pieces on a baking sheet and bake for 15 min. Turn over the pieces halfway through cooking.

Enjoy warm with a little mint sauce and peas.
