Here is a cake made for the anniversary of Mr. and I believe he has liked it a lot. He always has the right to great cake for his birthday (well, yes, that is what I would not do for him ?!) and there, I didn’t have a lot of time in front of me, so I’ve prepared this cake (no no I am not the farts not, it really is that simple !).
This is a simple recipe and does not demand a lot of time if you buy your macarons all made like me (boo…not good !)…
Why not make this cake for the holidays, it is good, it will impress your guests and it changes the log !!!
Chocolate cake in cake
Ingredients (for 8-10 people)
- 280 g of good dark chocolate
- 170 g of butter
- 7 eggs
- 110 g of flour
- 80 g of cane sugar
- 60 g of bitter cocoa
- 1/2 packet of yeast chemical
For the icing and decor
- 250 g of good dark chocolate
- 25 cl of whipping cream
- 8 macaroons or macaroon shells of different colors
- A dozen raspberries
Preheat the oven to 180°.
Melt the butter and chocolate together in a bain-marie or in the microwave. Add the egg yolks one-to-one and reserve the white. Then add the cocoa, the sugar, the yeast and the flour and mix.
Take up whites in snow and incorporate it in whole to the dough.
Divide the mixture into two molds out of different diameters and covered with a layer of parchment paper. Bake for 35 minutes.
Turn out the cakes and let them cool.
For the frosting, heat the cream and then remove from the heat and add the chocolate. Stir well to obtain a mixture smooth and homogeneous.
Put the cakes one on the other and have everything on a grid. Pour the icing over and smooth with a spatula.
Then add the macaroons on the sides and a few raspberries.
Store at room temperature before serving.
