This weekend, I had need of softness, comfort food, favourite toy and that says it all it says chocolate ! Then, as I really couldn’t present you a bar of chocolate, I chose the chocolate pear. Therefore, as its name suggests, there is a lot of chocolate in this chocolate pear, but also of the whipped cream, well yes as long as it is on the packet ! In short, the pear it is the season so we took advantage, and with the return of the cold, eat a little dessert cooked a little hot (yes because we can’t decently feed only raclette and hot chocolate !) well, it’s good for you !

- 4 firm pears
- 80 cl of water
- 170 g of sugar cane
- 1 vanilla pod
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 50 g butter
- FOR THE WHIPPED CREAM
- 25 cl of whipping cream
- 40 g of icing sugar
- Split the vanilla pods in the length and scrape out the grains.In a saucepan, heat the water, the sugar and the vanilla pod and its beans. Peel the pears and keep the tails, it will be easier to return them to the saucepan.Put the pears in the syrup and let cook over medium heat for 40 minutes. It is necessary that the syrup reduces to about 2/3, and that the pears will become slightly translucent.
- Melt the butter and then add the chocolate pieces out of the fire, stirring well to make an emulsion.
- Beat the cream well chilled with sugar to get whipped cream.
- Serve the pears with the chocolate and the whipped cream.
