After having gone to look for good raw milk with my mom, I wanted to make a rice pudding but to change the classic version of rice pudding to vanilla, here is a version of chocolate even more tasty (well yeah who doesn’t love chocolate ?!). As usual, I do not like desserts too sweet, the sugar intake is therefore reduced, but you can always increase it a little (I say a little huh ?!) !

Humm…too good !

Chocolate rice pudding

Ingredients (for 4)

  • 160 g round rice
  • 1 litre of raw milk of preference (or integer)
  • 40 g of cane sugar
  • 50 g of good dark chocolate
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder


Pour the milk into a saucepan, add the sugar and gently heat it.

Add the bitter cocoa and stir with a whisk.

When the milk boils, add the rice in rain and reduce heat.

Stir from time to time.

Cook over a low heat for about 30-35 minutes until the rice flush with the surface.

Remove the pan from the heat and add the chocolate in pieces and stir until it is completely melted.

Divide into jars, let cool and enjoy.
