It’s been a while that I wanted to test this recipe for cider hot with spices, but I wanted to wait a little because it is really perfect for this time of year when we switch to a cooler weather… And as it comes to snow in Grenoble (and yes, already…), this hot drink is ready all the more !
I had tested this cider spicy hot for the first time at a Christmas market in Montbéliard and I have to admit that he had warmed up, exactly what we needed ! It was so cold that I thought my feet were going to fall all alone…
You can enjoy this cider, hot spices, in the afternoon or but it is also perfect for an evening of pampering. From our side, we had done a Sunday afternoon and we were accompanied by cookies soft chocolate and pepper and a tart apple and caramelized walnuts.
Cider hot spiced
To 4 Save Print Ingredients
- 75 cl apple cider sweet
- 2 tbsp rum (brown)
- 1 c. c. of cinnamon or 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 2 seeds of green cardamom
- 1 pinch of ground nutmeg
- Place all ingredients in a saucepan and cook about 10 minutes over low heat.
- Pour into cups and enjoy almost immediately (do you brulez not anyway…).
- It is as simple as that and it is delicious !
I love the sweetness of the spiced apple cider and hot. It can quickly become a favorite drink of the winter, comforting and changing of hot wine, a little more classic and stronger in flavor. Even if it is a drink that I also appreciate, I must admit… ��
