Here is a recipe of shortbread all pink and in the shape of hearts for Monsieur, made with weighed pieces brought back from our trip to the United States. This is great because we can insert the letters that we want to write sweet words ! But you can also do it with carry classic pieces in the shape of hearts !
Cookies hearts rose water
Ingredients (for two dozen large cookies)
- 420 g of flour
- 200 g of cane sugar
- 190 g butter
- 1 egg
- 10 cl of rose water
- The red dye
In a robot drummer or the drummer in the hand, mix together the butter and sugar to obtain a creamy mixture and then add the dye, the egg and the rose water and beat for 2 minutes.
Then add the flour and the salt then continue to beat for 2 minutes so that the flour is completely absorbed.
Form a ball of dough and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to form a thickness of 4 mm approximately.
Cut to the punch and then refrigerate 20 min.
Preheat the oven to 180°.
Bake the shortbread for 12 minutes ( it is not necessary that there have staining).
