It was a long time that I hadn’t made cookies for the Mister and I have asked for them. Yes, because you should know that it is a little bit with cookies that I’ve seduced a few years ago, and with this recipe cookies soft chewy chocolate chip that I was preparing myself lovingly, so that he will have a snack and that he can think of me when he was a factor during the summer !

And then today, I have no more excuses not to make him happy, because I am now equipped with a Kitchenaid and it’s easy for me to really life !

So I broke down today on a version of cookies nuts of pecans and chocolate, which I hope will tantalize your taste buds !

Cookies, pecans and chocolate

Ingredients (for two dozen cookies)

  • 175 g of wheat flour semi-complete
  • 110 g butter, softened
  • 60 g of cane sugar
  • 60 g de vergeoise brune
  • 1 egg
  • 150 g pecan nuts
  • 150 g good dark chocolate
  • 1/2 c. to c. of baking soda
  • 1 pinch of vanilla powder
  • 1 pinch of salt


Preheat the oven to 200°.

Break up the walnuts of pecans into pieces coarse, put them on a baking sheet and bake for 6 minutes to toast it.

Break the chocolate in order to get pieces the size of chips.

Working in mixer the butter with the sugars until the mixture is smooth. Add the egg, vanilla and continue to beat.

Mix the flour, the bicarbonate and the pinch of salt, and add to the cake mixture to get a thick paste. Finally, add the chocolate pieces and the pecans and then stir.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Take out the dough from the fridge and shape into balls the size of a small ping-pong ball. Put the balls on a baking sheet crushing them slightly and spacing them well.

Cook 10 minutes for each tour.

Enjoy once cooled !
