What would you say to prepare your biscuits apéro home today ?! Yes, because it is necessary to admit, most of the time it’s chips, olive and crackers industrial, well, yes it is easier and faster than home made !!! Think again, because these crackers seeds are ultra simple, and available to the infinite ! Well, yes, change of flour and/or seeds and hey presto you have a new recipe for crackers… the class what !

These crackers are really terrible (at least in the positive sense of the term, don’t worry it won’t run everywhere !), and will be a woe to the hour of the aperitif !

Crackers seeds to the flour of chick-peas {gluten-free, vegan}

Ingredients (makes two dozen crackers)

  • 150 g of flour of chick-peas
  • 50 g of beads of sunflower
  • 2 tbsp of cumin seeds
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 g of salt
  • 4 tbsp of cold water


Preheat the oven to 200°.

Mix together the flour of chick-peas, salt, water and olive oil. Knead to obtain a nice smooth paste, add 1 tablespoon of cold water in if needed.

Roll out the dough about 3 mm on a baking sheet.

Add the seeds on top of dough and let them penetrate with the help of the rolling pin. Cut into lozenges or other form.

Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Let cool before serving.
