I am sure that you had never thought of eating a Christmas tree…! Then, for this sixth recipe I’ve concocted just for you, pretty cupcakes in the shape of a christmas tree with nice Christmas balls for decoration (it is not nice this girl ?!).

A chewable, don’t you think ?!

Cupcakes Christmas tree

Ingredients (for 6)

For the base

  • 100 g of flour
  • 80 g of light butter
  • 80 g of cane sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp of milk
  • 1 c. c. of yeast
  • The vanilla powder

For the topping fir

  • 125 g mascarpone
  • 70 g of butter
  • 100 g of sugar
  • Dye glass
  • Beads of sugar
  • Stars dough sugar the recipe here

For the realization of the dough in sugar, you can use the homemade recipe here by halving the quantities and adding yellow dye to the mixture. Spread then the dough with sugar and cut stars using a cookie room. Otherwise you can always buy the paste sugar yellow.

Preheat the oven to 180°.

Mix together the butter and the sugar using a whisk and then add the eggs. Beat well all. Add the flour and the yeast mixture and stir with a spatula. Mix all with the milk.

Divide the mixture among the muffin cups, covered boxes and put in the oven for 13 min. Remove from oven and leave to cool.

For the frosting, beat together the sugar and butter for 3 minutes to obtain a light mixture. Then add the mascarpone cheese and food colouring, and beat a few seconds to thoroughly incorporate the whole. Put the frosting in a piping bag with a smooth tube in the nozzle.

Train fir pocketing the frosting on the cupcakes from the bottom to the top.

Decorate then with the stars in a dough, sugar and balls of sugar as Christmas balls.

Keep cool before serving.
