Eggs and milk must be a part of my favorite desserts, and yes impossible for me to decide on my favourite dessert !!! I decided to prepare this dessert when I realized that I no longer have sugar apart from the sugar and vanilla. A little too lazy to go down to the Monop’, so I improvise… the caramel agave syrup. Exceeding all my hopes… it works and it is good !

Then these eggs to the milk, it is the tests ?!

Eggs milk vanilla and caramel agave syrup

Ingredients (for 4-6 ramekins)

  • 50 cl of fresh whole milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup

For the caramel agave

  • 8 tbsp of agave syrup


Preheat the oven to 130°.

In a saucepan, heat the agave syrup to prepare the caramel. Stop the cooking of the latter when he begins to have a nice colour. Divide the caramel into the ramekins and refrigerate.

Beat the eggs in a bowl.

Put the milk, sugar, vanilla and the agave syrup to heat in a saucepan, let him ride the milk and then pour directly onto the eggs while stirring. Then pour this mixture into the ramekins.

Put the ramekins in a baking dish and make a water bath by placing warm water at mid-height in the dish.

Bake for 50 min.

Book in the refrigerator before serving.
