I love the wild in prunes, I could eat a ton so I like it !!! Then to make it more “light” (finally to be convinced of this !), here is a version plant milk is deliciously perfect !

I chose to use milk of spelt (my favorite but you know that already !!!), but you can do it with rice milk, soy milk, almond milk… let your imagination run wild.

Convinced ?!

Far with prunes {without milk}

Ingredients (for 8-10)

  • 400 g of pitted prunes (or more !)
  • 250 g of flour
  • 150 g cane sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 litre of milk spelt
  • Some nuts of butter or not !
  • Rum, vanilla or nothing !

Preheat the oven to 160°.

Butter a baking dish and then scatter over the prunes in it.

Mix the flour and sugar in a bowl, make a hole and add the eggs. Stir with a whisk and mix gradually with the milk. Add the rum or vanilla, or keep the preparation in nature.

Pour into prepared dish.

Put a few shavings of butter on top if you want.

Bake for 1 hour and 15 min and only 50 minutes if you choose the version with the soy milk.

Enjoy warm or cold !
