I love cheese ! Well, yes I do not come to the Alps for anything !!! Then when I have the opportunity, I love discovering new varieties of cheeses
and even foreign cheese. Yes, because I’m going to talk to you about stilton, a blue that comes to us from England, and which lies between the blue of causses and the roquefort. Good and as I love blue (not the shots, huh !) and no Sir, he took an indirect means to make him eat by associating it with something more mild like a pear. This is how I got the idea of this tart with pears and stilton !

And then there are some time already I was already doing a fine pastry tart with pears and the Saint-Marcellin that we had loved so it was the occasion of repeated with the arrival of the season of pears (good pear me ?! no… !!!).

As I know that you like the small, quick dishes to make, this time, it only takes a few ingredients on hand to make you enjoy !

A fine pastry tart with pears and stilton

Ingredients (for 6 people)

  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • 3 pears
  • 100 g of blue stilton
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 handful of arugula
  • 1 drizzle of olive oil
  • salt and pepper


Preheat the oven to 200° by the sole.

Lay the puff pastry on a baking sheet. Gild with egg yolk.

Peel the pears, cut them in half and then cut thin slices in the length. Tastefully arrange the slices on the dough.

Then add the stilton in chunks over and then season.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Wash the arugula and season with a drizzle of olive oil. Add on the pie out of the oven.

Good pie !
