There is one thing on which everyone agrees : during the year-end festivities, we have a slight tendency to we force-feed too much to eat ! So between the cheese and the buche, why not try a small fruit salad to winter well-flavored with spices of Christmas ?! It’s fresh, it’s light and tangy, perfect to finish a meal. This fruit salad winter can also be enjoyed throughout the winter season, to make the full of vitamins and put beautiful colors in our plates. In any case, it is the case for me, I would as long as there is citrus fruit on the stalls (yes, because I love it !). In the same style, you can vary with a salad of oranges, dates, honey and orange blossom salad, a winter scented that I also love !
For this recipe of fruit salad I have found in my organic grocer in a small mixing spices to base of cinnamon stick, cardamom seeds, anise star, licorice and bark of oranges, perfect to infuse in the syrup. But don’t worry, you can always make your mix yourself, and you are not obliged to put everything ! I you use a bowl ?!
Fruit salad of winter and light syrup with spices of Christmas and vanilla
For 4 people Save Print Ingredients
- 1/2 pineapple
- 5 clementines in corsica
- 3 oranges
- 1 grenade
- FOR THE SYRUP
- 20 cl of water
- 200 g of cane sugar
- The juice of one orange
- 1 tablespoon of mixed spices
- 1 vanilla pod
- Slice the pineapple into pieces, cut the pomegranate seeds and clementine quarters and cut the oranges into the supreme (neighborhoods without skin).
- Put all in a bowl.
- For the syrup, heat the water and sugar in a saucepan with the spice mixture and the scraped vanilla bean. Leave to cook the syrup for 4 minutes then let cool. Filter the syrup and then mix with the orange juice.
- Pour over the fruit salad and then refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Serve fresh, this fruit salad of winter will be even better !
