Finally, personally I still have a little hope because I take my holiday in ten days, and I hope that the month of September will be hot, actually ! Well, if this is not the case, we console with a gazpacho of melon and very fresh, yes, because in the beginning of September the stalls of the market is full of beautiful summer vegetables (so, yes, Mr. marrows, you wait a few months for that I want to throw my sights on you !). And as I saw Hana, we whip up a beautiful gazpacho to watermelon, I had a sudden urge of gazpacho ! But as I had neither a watermelon, or basil on hand (well, yes, I have small hands !), it ended up in improv with a gazpacho melon and mint !
Then we loose, it is fun and we enjoy (perhaps for the last time) a cold soup came from a warm country as if it sirotait at the edge of the beach on a summer evening (nothing forbids you to put on your borsalino and your sunglasses to make as if !). Go, I leave you with some photos and the recipe.
Gazpacho of melon with mint
For 4 people Save Print Ingredients
- 1 melon
- 500 g tomatoes (here beef heart)
- 1 onion fresh
- 1 small red sweet pepper
- A few leaves of mint
- 1 drizzle of olive oil
- Of tabasco (optional)
- Cut all the vegetables (and melons !) coarsely, and put them all into a blender.
- Add the olive oil, the mint and tabasco sauce and mix everything well. Salt.
- Serve with a drizzle of olive oil.
