A gratin of zucchini, anyone ? This is a cover single for the days when it was not too want to complicate life, the recipe for which comes directly from my paternal grandmother.

Gratin of courgettes

Ingredients (for 4 people)

  • 800 g small courgettes
  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 20 cl of whipping cream
  • 120 g grated comté cheese
  • A hint of ground nutmeg
  • Salt and Pepper


Cut the zucchini and the potatoes into pieces and blanch 5 minutes in boiling salted water.

Beat together the egg and cream, add salt and pepper and add the ground nutmeg.

Preheat the oven to 200 °.

In a gratin dish, put the zucchini and the potatoes and crush them coarsely.
Add the mixture to egg-cream and mix and then add the comté and stir again.

Put in the oven for 20 min and it is ready !
