Rice salad pretty pretty pretty… yes I like a little the song of Bourvil !!!

He makes new beautiful so why not organize a picnic this weekend with a good rice salad ?! Okay, if the weather is not expected at you this weekend you’re going to hate me (I take the risk), but do not tell me to go see the greeks (I know this is a bit easy as a game of words, ok I go out !) !!!

This version is relatively simple, but you can add cucumber or even feta if you feel like it and if you have any in the fridge !

So here is an idea to extend a bit the summer !

Rice salad with yoghurt to the Greek

Ingredients (for 4)

  • 200 g rice of your choice
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 onions cébette
  • 1 small bunch of fresh mint
  • 2 Greek yogurts
  • 1 drizzle of olive oil
  • The juice of half a lemon
  • Salt and pepper


Cook the rice as indicated on the package. After cooking set aside to let cool.

Wash and cut your tomatoes into small cubes.

Snip finely the spring onions and mint.

In a bowl, emulsify together the juice of a lemon with a drizzle of olive oil. Add the yoghurt to the Greek and then season to taste. Then pour in the rice and add the vegetables and the mint.

Mix together and serve cold with a bit of chopped mint on top.
