For this fifth recipe of Christmas, I wanted to take you in a magical forest, inhabited by strange animals in the speculoos. The fox, the bear, the squirrel and the reindeer have been present but look good, there is also a village in the distance…maybe that’s Father Christmas…
The weighed-in parts come for the most from our Swedish friends, but you can make this forest with the animals that you like, I’m sure the children will be excited to do their magic forest !
I know I know… they are cute all full, but don’t worry, they are here to be devoured !!!
Magical forest, animals, biscuit

- 200 g of flour
- 100 g of butter
- 80 g de vergeoise brune
- 20 g of cane sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 c. c. of cinnamon powder
- 1/2 c. to c. of powdered ginger
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of baking soda
Beat together the egg and butter together to get a creamy mixture and then add the flour, the “vergeoise” sugar, the spices, the salt and the baking. Work the dough to form a nice ball.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 170°.
Roll out the dough about 3 mm on a floured work surface and cut out shapes with the cookie cutter.
Arrange the biscuit on a baking tray from the oven and covered with parchment paper, if needed.
Bake for 17 minutes.
Allow to cool, and biting into it with pleasure !!! Was keep in a box of iron, finally… if there are any left !
