After the gingerbread version classic, here is a version more greedy with pieces of candied orange and 100% honey. Then, it is that which will have a good gingerbread for its taste ?!!!
Mini gingerbread cakes with candied orange peel
Ingredients (for 6 minis or 3 ways)
- 300 g of flour semi-complete
- 200 g of honey of mountain
- 2 eggs
- 15 cl of milk
- 15 g butter
- 50 g candied orange peel
- 1/2 packet of yeast
- 1 c. c. of baking soda
- 1 c. c. of cinnamon powder
- 1 c. c. of powdered ginger
- 1 c. c. of anise powder
- 1/2 c. to c. of nutmeg
Preheat the oven to 190°.
Put the milk and the honey to heat on low heat in a saucepan until the honey is dissolved. Add the eggs to this mixture and whisk slightly.
Melt the butter in hand.
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda and spices together then make a well. Pour in the center the milk mixture, honey, eggs and stir with a wooden spoon. When the mixture is homogeneous, add the melted butter.
Cut orange peel into small cubes and add to the dough.
Pour the batter into the mini molds.
Bake for about 30 min.
Turn out of the tin out of the oven and wait until it cools to taste (if you can !).
