Thing promised something due, here is the recipe I told you about right here !

This week we had beans in our basket of vegetables, 400 g with which I made the famous salad of bulgur, peas, beans, and feta cheese. But as 400 g of beans, not shelled, it only gives 50 g of beans in total, as you say, that I didn’t want to throw away the skins !!! And then as I told you I discussed it with Celine, and this association cake seemed to me not bad ! A good way to recovered the skins of the beans (well, yes it is not the beans though !).

Then it is that which will be fun ?!!!

Patties vegetable bulgur wheat, beans and fresh goat cheese

Ingredients (for 2 cakes)

  • 60 g of the skins of baked beans (or 500 g fresh broad beans in their pod)
  • 50 g bulgur, raw
  • 50 g of good fresh goat cheese
  • Salt and pepper
  • A drizzle of olive oil

Description

Cook the bulgur wheat by adding 2 minutes of cooking more than what is indicated on the packaging. Drain and place in a blender.

Add the rest of the ingredients in the mixer and mix for 2 minutes to form a dough. Season.

Form dough balls and flatten into patties. Refrigerate minimum 30 min in order to solidify the cakes.

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and put the patties to cook over medium heat to crisp for 3-4 minutes per side.
