Strawberry-rhubarb, the mixture is already well known to foodies (I also love the mixture of raspberry and rhubarb already tested here and here, but that’s another matter !), but I do not stand to you to offer a version pie rustic simple. The tart is a light dessert perfect (with the clafoutis, crumble…) when like me, you forget the fruits in the fridge ! Yes but not serious as we are well caught up with this pie rustic strawberry rhubarb that we all devoured at snack time, I’m sure with you, it will not last long either. And then combine the rhubarb with the strawberry it is the right way to break its acidity and the love of children.

Little bonus, if you’re on vacation, you don’t even need a pie pan, good, but you’ll still need an oven !!!

Pie rustic strawberry – rhubarb {vegan} 2015-07-20 12:34:52 For 1 pie Save Print Ingredients

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 6 stalks of rhubarb
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • FOR THE DOUGH
  • 190 g of flour T80
  • 90 g of margarine plant
  • 5 cl of cold water
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar full

 

Preparation

  • Prepare the dough by sanding by hand or the robot equipped with a sheet, the flour, the sugar and the margarine. Then add the water gradually and work to form a smooth paste. Make a ball and refrigerate 30 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 200° by the sole.
  • Lower the dough on 3-4 mm thick, forming a circle.
  • Cut the rhubarb into pieces after it tapered and cut the strawberries into pieces.
  • Arrange the fruit over the pastry, leaving 4 cm on the edges.Sprinkle with sugar. Fold the edges of the dough over the fruit.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
