I know, I know… the blog has been just over a week and I’m already in my third dessert of the post 4 recipes ! Not not and re-no, I do focus is not on the sweet…finally though ! Good promised after this one I’m preparing small recipes savoury and balanced, which I hope will please you, but in the meantime it is dessert !

Good so it is tart, rustic strawberry, a little tart carried out during a weekend in Briançon where I have yet found on the market of the sublime strawberry charlottes. Good, and as there was no pie pan, finally…there was one but it has not found it, I am a pie rustic, yes, because it is practical and there is no need to even pie ! Go to zou, it takes advantage of the latest strawberry…

Pie rustic strawberry {without milk}

For 1 pie or 4 mini Save Print Ingredients

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 4 tbsp of strawberry jam
  • FOR THE DOUGH
  • 200 g of wheat flour bise
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 5 cl of neutral oil
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cold water (optional)

 

Preparation

  • Prepare the dough, to do this, pour the flour into a bowl, make a well, add the egg yolk, the sugar and the oil and then work the dough by hand or the robot in order to obtain a ball smooth (add a little cold water if needed). Refrigerate for 30 min.
  • Preheat the oven to 180°.
  • Roll out the dough into a round shape about 3-4 mm thick.
  • Cut the strawberries into slices.
  • Spread the jam on the dough and then add the strawberries in the center. Be sure to leave 4-5 inches on the edges and then fold the edges of dough on the preparation.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
