The last plums are still on the stalls of the merchants so I offer you one last recipe with this fruit that I love so much in this season, a tart of plums in autumn. A good base of sweet dough, a little almond powder and simply stunning plum = good pie for you to enjoy with your cup of tea… then it makes you want ?!
A nice recipe that you can certainly do it with plums for the season !
Pie with plums
Ingredients (for one pie)
- A dozen plums (type plum enté)
- 60 g of cane sugar
- 60 g of almond powder complete
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar or a little cinnamon powder
For the sweet dough
- 250 g of flour
- 125 g of butter
- 75 g cane sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of salt
To prepare your sweet dough, work the butter and sugar by hand so that the butter becomes ” ointment “. Then add the whole egg, and work again the mixture. Add the flour and salt at once and stir until a nice smooth paste.
Form a ball and refrigerate 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 180°.
Roll out the dough on the work plan and have it in a mould. Trim the edges with a knife if necessary.
Mix the almond powder and the sugar and place the mixture on the dough.
Wash and cut the fruit into quarters.
Have the neighborhoods of fruit standing on the dough to form petals.
Sprinkle the fruit with vanilla sugar or a little cinnamon.
Bake for 35 min.
