The pineapple I love it, but apart from nature or in fruit salad, I lack some time for a good dose of imagination. Then, for a change, here’s a small killing spree, simple !

For info, the grenadilles are a variety of passion fruit, orange, a little sweeter than the passion fruit on the outside with a touch of violet that we know all.

Pineapple roasted in the oven, granadilla vanilla and rum

Ingredients (for 4)

  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 grenadilles (or 3-4 passion fruits)
  • 2 tbsp of cane sugar
  • 5 cl of dark rum
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar

Preheat the oven to 180°.

Peel the pineapple and cut washers a centimeter. Lay the pineapple slices on a baking sheet.

Open the grenadilles and spend the plulpe in a sieve to obtain a juice without the grain.

Mix together the rum, sugar cane, and the juice of marcujas and pour over the pineapple slices. Finish by sprinkling vanilla sugar on top.

Bake 10 to 15 min until staining.

Serve warm with the cooking juices and a scoop (or two !) of vanilla ice cream.
