This potato cake comes to me from my grandmother (but if you know, the grandma that also makes me of the baked apples !), I love that it make me when I go to breakfast with her. It is a little bit small dish “favorite” with the gnocchi di patate (yes, my grandmother is very potatoes !!!) and I love it ! It really is a dish is super simple and only requires two ingredients are potatoes and butter (well, and then also salt and pepper but it doesn’t really count huh ?!). Yes, because everything holds together thanks to the starch of the potato, so it is especially not to pass them under the water, and the butter serves to nicely browned in the oven.
And then as the new potatoes come, it helps change his way of cooking potatoes, yes, because the puree this is good, but sometimes I’m fed up… Monday, potatoes, Tuesday, potatoes, Wednesday, potatoes… (not thank me not for the air that you have in the head now, it’s free !!!) ! Go zou, a potato cake for tonight !
