Lately I’m very vegetables roasted in the oven, because it is of a childlike simplicity (I did not say letting the kids cook for you or let them play with the oven !) and it is really tasty. This time it’s potatoes and carrots roasted because yes I had already cooked carrots roasted ! I love this method of cooking, all the juices of the vegetables are concentrated and with Mr. we enjoy for sure with a good slice of bread to crush the roasted garlic on it (oh, the gourmands !) !!!

And then he should do honour to the beautiful carrot greens that can be found in the moment and then even if the summer is over (sniff !), carrots it is always good to prolong the tan, for you to make the butt roses or for you to make it lovable (attention do not make me say what I didn’t say…) !

It is for that good vegetables ?!

Potatoes and carrots roasted in the oven

Ingredients (for 4 people)

  • 1 small bunch carrot greens
  • 600 g of new potatoes
  • 2 heads of garlic
  • 1 drizzle of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • Salt and pepper


Preheat the oven to 200°.

Wash the carrots, scrub but do not peel not.

Wash the potatoes and then cut them into four or two depending on their size.

Please break down the garlic but keep the cloves in shirt. Arrange all the vegetables in a baking dish.

Add a pinch of sugar and a drizzle of olive oil and then season to taste.

Bake for 35 minutes.

Good vegetables !
