As you have probably already noticed, in the kitchen, I love the asian flavors including coconut milk, lemongrass, galangal and fresh cilantro.

This time, I offer you a recipe that I absolutely adored, ravioli, chicken nage, coconut and lemongrass. I think it is one of the dishes that I cooked that made me the most excited. In fact, this may be my favorite. I still dream, just as Fab.

Ravioli, chicken swimming in coconut and lemongrass

To 6 Save Print Ingredients

  • FOR THE RAVIOLI
  • 400 g of chicken cutlets
  • 4 cloves of pressed garlic
  • 3 strands of coriander
  • Pepper
  • 40 sheets of wonton (dough dumplings that you can find in grocery store asian)
  • FOR THE BROTH
  • 40 cl of coconut milk
  • 40 cl of vegetable broth
  • 3 stalks of lemongrass cut into sections of 3 cm
  • 4 slices of galangal
  • 3 shallots, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil or peanut
  • 50 g black mushrooms
  • 1 knife tip of chilli powder
  • 1 tablespoon of nuocmam
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 3 strands of coriander

Instructions

  • Chop together the chicken, garlic, pressed, half of the coriander and the pepper.
  • Take a dough wonton and drop it in the center a spoon of the above mixture.
  • Moisten the edges of the wonton with water and collect them to form small purses. Repeat for all ravioli.
  • Boil salted water in a while and immerse the dumplings for 2-3 minutes until they rise to the surface. Remove them using a slotted spoon and plunge them into cold water. Out the and book.
  • In a large saucepan, saut√© the minced shallots in the oil. When they have blondi, stir in the vegetable broth hot and then the coconut milk, lemongrass, galangal, black mushrooms, thinly sliced. Then add the sauce nuocmam and the lime juice. Let it simmer so that the broth develops all its flavors.
  • Then place the ravioli to the chicken in the broth to warm.
  • Then serve in bowls and add coriander chopped.
