Good vegetables roasted in the oven with garlic and bacon, it takes little to be happy make me happy ! Has to adapt in function of the season, here I have chosen the carrot greens and turnips in a bundle, because, yes, even if I don’t like turnips, I try to cook as with the tatin of turnips to make me change my mind.
Roasted vegetables with bacon
Ingredients (for 2)
- 5-6 carrots (or more)
- 5-6 turnips (or more)
- 6 cloves of garlic
- Slices of bacon
- 1 drizzle of olive oil
- 1 knob of butter
Peel vegetables or scrub just under the water. Put the bleach separately 10 minutes in boiling salted water.
Preheat the oven to 200°.
Put to drain the vegetables so that all the water vapour escapes so that they fry well.
Place in a baking dish, add the cloves of garlic (with their skin), drizzle with olive oil, season with pepper and add the knob of butter. Cover with a few slices of bacon.
Bake for 12 -15 min, it is necessary that the vegetables are caramelized.
