In the mood for a dessert fast ?! This is what I said to myself before making this cake of semolina, a dessert and Mister loved it !
So here is a cake of semolina chocolate that will seduce you by its softness and the small touches of candied ginger, hmmm what a treat ! However, I think you can skip the candied ginger if you make this recipe for children, otherwise it is grimace warranty (you can always put a little cinnamon powder for example) !
Semolina cake semi-sweet chocolate and candied ginger
Ingredients (for 4-6)
- 530 ml of whole milk
- 60 g of semolina, medium or fine
- 40 g of cane sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. s. dished bitter cocoa
- 1 tbsp of candied ginger cut into small pieces
Preheat the oven to 180°.
In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil with the sugar and the cocoa. Whisk to dissolve everything.
Once the mixture to a boil, pour the semolina in rain and let it cook on low heat 5 min.
During this time separate the whites from the yolks.
Off the heat, add the egg yolks to the semolina and mix well.
Take up whites in snow and incorporate in the preparation.
Pour the preparation in a pan anti-adhesive (type mould with charlotte) and bake for 15 min.
Book at room temperature and then cool, and remove from pan before serving.
