Spread carrots roasted way hummus

Save Print Ingredients

  • 3 carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
  • 1 c. c. of cumin seeds
  • 1 c. c. of cumin powder
  • 1 c. c. of paprika
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 small box of chickpeas cooked, drained and rinsed
  • 3 tbsp of tahini
  • 1/2 lemon yellow
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

 

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 200°.
  • On a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, place the carrot sticks. Drizzle of olive oil and pour in the cumin seeds on top. Bake for twenty minutes until the carrots are soft.
  • Drain the chick peas.
  • In a blender, place all ingredients carrot, chickpeas, spices, tahini, lemon… and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Mix everything well until the small pieces of ingredients clumping together to form the spread.
  • If you want to go up to a mixture more creamy, add more 1 tablespoon of olive oil and another of tahin and then remix to get a hummus carrot.
