I think that with the heat in the moment (38° on average), I could live in my freezer… good as I know it is not really possible, it remains the solution of ice. Attention not any ice cream, ice cream homemade, yes, yes home made with love and good fresh fruit ! It is, therefore, a strawberry sorbet, basil and olive oil that I suggest you to devour today, a sorbet good taste and summer vacation. The top with the homemade ice cream is that one knows what one puts in and with an ice cream maker it does not take more than 5 minutes of preparation. Ok, ok, if you don’t have an ice cream maker it will have to work a little more and stir the ice from time to time, but I swear to you that at the tasting you will be proud of you ! I can only tell you : in summer, eat ice cream and drink water too !) !

Strawberry Sorbet, basil and olive oil
To 1 ice cube tray Save Print Ingredients
- 500 g strawberries
- 10 basil leaves
- 30 cl of water
- 100 g of cane sugar
- 1 tablespoon of glucose
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Mix the strawberries with the basil and olive oil.
- In a saucepan, mix the sugar, glucose and water and bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
- Mix the syrup and the puree of strawberries and then put the preparation in an ice cream maker and spin until the sorbet take, put it in the freezer or enjoy immediately. Another solution, put the sorbet in a dish and stir it every 2 hours for 12 hours.
- Get out a little before tasting.
