I imagine that in you also the tabbouleh is a classic summer meal… There, I wanted to change a little and I offers you a version salty-sweet with this tabbouleh with peas, feta and melon. We are delighted with its freshness and sweet scents, mmhhh…

I find that the taboulés are very practical to do in the summer because they can be used as an input, or even flat and the way that is well-balanced and fragrant ! And then, for picnics, it is so easy to carry, especially in a jar…


Tabbouleh with peas, feta and melon {in a jar}

4 Save Print Ingredients

  • 1/4 melon
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 400 g of peas not shelled
  • 200 g of fine semolina dry
  • 200 g of feta cheese
  • 1 onion cébette
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 1 drizzle of olive oil
  • 1/2 lemon
  • Salt and pepper

 

Instructions

  • Écossez peas and cook in a pan of hot water for 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in a bowl, pour the semolina and add the lemon juice and the olive oil.
  • Cut out the melon, cucumber, seeded and cheese of feta into small cubes and add to the semolina.
  • Chop the onion cool and mint and then stir in the semolina.
  • Add the peas, drained, salt, and pepper and mix gently.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, stirring from time to time to the semolina soaks up well in a homogeneous way in the water to other ingredients and can swell.
