The pie, the banana is a classic in my family, but usually it’s a pie covered with a device egg-cream that we eat at my parents. Even if I don’t get tired of this recipe, I wanted to offer you something different.
Like a pot of jam of milk stood there lost in my closet, I said to myself, combine it with bananas in a pie, would not be a bad idea ! I’ve gone back to the basic dough that I had made for the pies rustic apple and the pomegranate as I had loved, simply.

Tart with banana and milk jam
- 4-5 large bananas (or more)
- 1 small jar of jam milk (about 200 g)
For the sweet dough
- 250 g of rye flour
- 125 g of butter
- 60 g of cane sugar
- 1 egg
- The zest of half a lemon
- 1 pinch of salt
Start by preparing the dough, for this to work the egg and sugar together then add the butter and the lemon zest. Then pour the flour in one shot and form a ball of dough. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180°.
Roll out the dough to 3 mm thick and then place in a pie pan. Trim the edges using a knife and then prick the bottom with a fork.
Spread the milk jam over the pastry and keep the equivalent of a soup spoon.
Cut the bananas into slices and then arrange it nicely on the pie.
Finish by adding the rest of milk jam on top.
Bake for 35 minutes.
