There are quite a lot of varieties of cabbage on the stalls of the market, even if I know that you would really want to abandon for something more fresh, I propose a little recipe of the tart and simple. The broccoli, cauliflower, cream, mustard and cheddar, it is the quartet winner for a perfect recipe to take in your lunch-box or picnic, well, yes we are not going to deprive himself with this beautiful sun !!!

As you already know, the savory pies it is kind of my secret weapon so I continue to renew my repertoire so as not to tire Him (and me too by the way !) !

It is a good excuse to take out his molds tarts nestled at the bottom of the closet (what not from you ?! Forgiveness then…) !!!

Tarts broccoli and cauliflower cheddar

Ingredients (for 6 tarts)

  • 1 paton of puff pastry
  • 300 g of broccoli
  • 300 g cauliflower
  • 100 g of cheddar cheese
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 c. c. of mustard
  • Salt and pepper

Description

Preheat the oven to 200°.

Cut the cabbage into small florets and put to blanch in salted boiling water for 4 minutes.

Roll out the puff pastry until 3 mm and cut out circles of the sizes of the molds tarts. Put it in the moulds, prick with a knife and divide the florets inside.

Mix the cream with the mustard and a little salt and pepper and then add on top of that.

Finish by adding shredded cheddar cheese.

Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Enjoy hot or warm with a good crisp salad, for example. It is delicious !
