I don’t know why but I’m pretty sure that this salad does not speak to you much (or may be I am wrong !), or at least that you have not tasted very often. This salad is round and slightly bitter to Italy, is perfect for a small salad, but, once cooked, becomes just to fall. And what’s better than balsamic vinegar, bacon and mozzarella di bufala to accompany this treviso roasted, I ask you ! And well for me nothing !
Treviso roasted with balsamic vinegar, bacon and bufala
Ingredients (for 2 people)
- 2 trévises
- 4 thin slices of bacon
- 1 mozzarella di bufala
- 15 cl of balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp of honey
- 1 drizzle of olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Preheat the oven to 200°.
Mix together the vinegar and the honey and then put it to reduce over high heat in a saucepan until the mixture becomes syrupy.
Cut the trévises into four quarters and then arrange them in a baking dish. Coat them with the caramel balsamic and then season to taste.
Cut the slices of bacon in half, then wrap each quarter of radicchio with.
Sprinkle the whole with a drizzle of olive oil and bake for 15 minutes.
Enjoy with mozzarella di bufala torn into pieces.
