Here is a small idea to try to today… The whoopies are these cupcakes came straight from the United States, and which follows from the mode of the cupcakes.
To customize them, I decided to carry them out with a trim of our home, the Cream of Chestnuts of Ardèche, hummmm it was too good !
Whoopies with Cream of Chestnuts
Ingredients (for Twenty)
For the biscuit
- 250 g of flour
- 100 g butter, softened
- 125 g of sugar
- 1 egg
- 10 cl of milk
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 1 c to s of fresh cream
- 1 c to c of yeast
- 1/2 c to c of baking soda
- 2 pinches of salt
For the butter cream
- 80 g of chestnut purée
- 70 g butter, softened
- 30 g of icing sugar
- 1 tbsp of chestnut flour
Preheat the oven to 180°.
For the dough, work the butter with the sugars and the egg until the mixture whitens. Then add the flour, baking powder and baking soda in small amounts and continue to whisk.
Pour in the milk and cream and whisk until obtaining a smooth dough.
Put the preparation into a piping bag and form small circles, spacing them well.
Cook 10 min in the oven then let cool.
To prepare the butter cream whisk together all the ingredients to obtain a mixture well blended.
Fill the whoopies with the butter cream and it is ready !
