I do kitchen that very rarely japanese even if we enjoy it with Sir, because I don’t think about often. But after having tasted these yakitoris in a japanese restaurant in Marseille, I had more that wanted to redo because it was so good ! If you don’t know already, the yakitoris are small skewers of meat, fish, vegetables or even fruits that are very popular in Japan. So yes, I may be a little arranged, and adapted the recipe, because I chose to use the county as a cheese and as I don’t have a grill to cook the yakitoris, I cooked it in the oven.
Serve with a good rice, simply.
Yakitori beef cheese
Ingredients (for a dozen skewers)
- 200 g of beef (tenderloin, pear, topside)
- 200 g county
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce-shoyu
- 2 tbsp of honey
- 2 tbsp of mirin
Cut the beef into thin slices type carpaccio or make it by your nice butcher.
Then cut the county into sticks (1 per skewer).
Mix all the other ingredients to form the marinade.
Put the cheese sticks on a skewer and then cover it with one or two slice of beef by wrapping the latter around the cheese.
Put the skewers in the marinade and leave to marinate in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven mode grill.
Bake for 4 minutes basting with marinade and enjoy !
